I would like to thank Dr. Silberman for his help to receive my special issuance 3d class certificate in the shortest time ever. He was advising me as to how to properly document the medical package and how to review it before submittal to FAA. His expertise is greatly appreciated and he is an excellent asset to the AOPA medical staff.
I received my First Class Medical in the mail yesterday. Thank YOU for your help with this mess. I shall NEVER, NEVER, NEVER be without an AOPA membership again. Please post this as needed to let everyone know how much I appreciate what AOPA has done for me to resolve this matter.
Over the years I have had help from the medical support folks at AOPA to follow up on my periodic data submissions and the battery replacements. They have always been able to help and also reassure me when things seemed to get bogged down.
I have been subscribed to the AOPA Legal Services Plan for several years and actually used the service for an issue a couple of years ago. The attorney I was referred to handled the matter very professionally and the problem was corrected as a result of this program. I would recommend the prepaid service to all pilots, renters and anyone that is in aviation.
I received my Pilot Protection Services Accident/Incident Quick Reference Card in the mail today, and I commend the AOPA staff for providing such a useful tool to GA airmen. Well done. My expectation is that my AOPA membership and Pilot Protection Services fee will have been well spent if I ever have to use either one of these tools.
