Hey, y'all! I'm Annabelle—a late-20’s gal born and raised in Texas (Yea Longhorns! Fight! Fight! Fight!), but currently living in the Queen City of Cincinnati after accepting my dream job with a cosmetics company.
Cincinnati is great, but I’m a southern girl at heart. When I realized my job would relocate me from my beloved Texas, I decided to take flying lessons as the University Flying Club at the University of Texas.
It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Now, no matter the distance, I can easily connect to my roots, my friends, and my family (not to mention real sweet tea!). And every Saturday in the fall, I fly myself and a couple fellow Longhorn alumni to the football games. I look forward to it all year, because I also get to see some of my best friends from all over the country. We show the current students how tailgating is done!
I just know 2016 is the Longhorns year, and you better believe I will be there every step of the way. That’s why I entrust AOPA Pilot Protection to help keep me flying, because I fully expect to be in the stands at the CFP National Championship on January 9, 2017. For it's Texas that we love best.
